Tai Chi a martial art is quite complicated, and it requires regular practice. Several styles and principles are comprising of Tai Chi martial art. Some of the essential principles and styles are explained below.

Graceful Movement

Tai Chi is a slow art which involves graceful and subtle movements. This helps in offering relaxation to your body and mind. Silence is required to achieve better results with Tai chi. In this art, there is a gradual transfer of weight from one part of the body to the other. 

Perform In All Directions

There are nearly eight directions used in Tai Chi which includes a front, back, left, right, left front, right back, right front., northeast, etc. Perform your movements in all the directions so that you experience good results. This helps in improving your focus and concentration.

Joint Movements

Tai Chi art mainly involves the movement of five big joints of the body. This includes hip, waist, shoulders, etc. Tai Chai deals with the movement of the waist which is a powerful joint of your body. The joint movements help in developing balance to your body. 

Reserve

This is the special principle of Tai Chi where the wrist and the knee are never locked. This helps in improving the blood circulation on the body.
